The project tries to reinterpret the typology of alpine shelters through spatial efficiency, thermal performance, and adaptive comfort. Shaped from the inside out, its form mirrors the mountain slope to better shed snow and rain. Two separate sleeping cabins offer both privacy and warmth. Each cabin includes bunk beds accommodating four to six people. Red accents reference the nearby Akua Forta springs, linking the shelter visually to the iron-rich terrain. Large southwest-facing windows collect passive solar heat, while a rooftop panel powers essential gear.
